What is a Certified Provider?
Our NCM-certified providers have trained in the model and spent several additional hours consulting Becki, Laura, and other professional colleagues on how to use the model with children, clients, students, and congregants. Only NCM-certified providers can use the NCM in their professional roles.

Laura Martello, MA, LLPC
Davison, MI
Laura Martello is a licensed professional counselor, doctoral student, and NCM provider and trainer who believes behavior makes more sense when we understand the needs beneath it. She integrates the Needs-Connection Model into her clinical work with children, teens, adults, and families, using it to foster safety, connection, understanding, and meaningful change. For Laura, NCM extends beyond the counseling room. It shapes how she understands relationships, development, parenting, teaching, and everyday life. Her relationship with Jesus also informs her understanding of our relational design and need for connection. Laura loves training others to see behavior differently, respond with curiosity and compassion, and build relationships where connection and growth can flourish.
